Storm Saturn, that is.
People. It's freaking winter. It happens.
When did we start naming..snow? Storm Saturn is hitting the Ohio Valley.
So much scarier than.. 5-8 inches.
Ooooo.
Granted, I HATE having My People driving in this crap.
I would greatly appreciate it if snow would stop falling on the roads.
Snow isn't listening to me.
Why does everyone buy milk and toilet paper when we're getting a big snow?
The fear of modern man- being out of milk and tp.
To be fair, I live in fear of running out of coffee and bird seed.
i'm totally with you on the coffee and birds seed! just made myself go to the feed store AND walmart this week to stock up on mixed seed and thistle and scratch feed...
ReplyDeleteThe folks at work have it over 8" and they're already saying they're not coming in tomorrow... weather.com shows maybe an inch??? Just a couple more weeks and we won't have to worry about it at all:@)
ReplyDeleteYou always make me laugh. Thank you. B
ReplyDeleteIt was here today. All 12"!
ReplyDeleteI have lots of lambs' ears in the garden that I haven't cut back so I am not too worried about the TP, but I would go bonkers without my glass of milk every morning.
ReplyDeleteI have a bottle of wine and some vienna sausages in the pantry. What else do I need?!
ReplyDeleteYes to coffee and bird seed! Sugar is good, too. You know, winter is a problem but I think the bigger problem is weather people. They have a deeply rooted narcissism ... what else could explain the winter weather hoopla?
ReplyDeleteHahaha...oh too funny. Can you imagine if everyone now lived in the "olden days";)))
ReplyDeleteThings are always worse when you give them a name.
ReplyDeleteCan not be without coffee and wine, which seems a bit like I'm seeking opposing chemical reactions -- and I am.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! Yea, I was wondering when we started naming snow storms. Really?!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby would probably want the tp but, like you, I would need coffee, cat & dog food and the bird seed.
We got some snow last night and today as well. I had to run to the store to grab some bread and you would have thought the apocalypse was coming! It's amazing that 5 or 6 inches of snow spawn the clearing of grocery store shelves! We're getting too soft!
ReplyDeleteBill
Guess what they are calling it here in the DC area?
ReplyDeleteThe Snowquester. No, I am not kidding.
It will be a miracle if I get through this without stabbing anyone.
Hey I gotta have my Cottonelle!
ReplyDeleteThe storms all seem to lose their names when they hit the Rockies. It's supposed to be up to 20" here, and no one is freaking out. I guess it's what you're used to!
ReplyDeleteYup, coffee would be my prime item too! Water is another one (our well pump shuts down when we lose power, so we always have lots of containers of water on hand).
Whenever a storm is coming, you can barely get a parking space at the grocery store in our small town. Hope all is well now. And you are right, when did we start to name storms? I mean snow storms.
ReplyDeleteWe got the snow here in SW Ohio and it is gone already. Am so looking forward to spring. Actually summer if it is not so hot and dry like last year, here.
