Pigless!

Because I can't get her on a scale, Larry..
Or make her do tricks, Brian...

We are Pigless today.
Plus, it's pouring. Pig isn't hauling her ass out in this weather for any reason.

Yes, I said pouring.  With 25 mph winds.
Yes, we are going camping.  Packing the car and getting the roof bag on should be an event.

25 mph winds at our destination, too.  Setting up the tent should be..ah..interesting.
Chaos Camping, baby!

I'm completely scatterbrained today..so have some random photos of the Chaos Dogs.

DOWN..STAY...and enjoy the rest of the week! :)

Monday, August 22

Blue skies..

Thigh highs (and melon)

..and I can't rhyme anything else.
Dramatic sighs.
HA! I had one more in me!

This Monday is CRAZY.
Michael had to be out the door at 4 am, and it went downhill from there!
Just a crazy, backwards, WTH kind of day...nothing serious, though.

Pig is trying to move in.

I heard this god awful banging from inside the utility closet where the hot water tank is...
Crack open the door (thinking there's a monster in there) and Pig is staring at me. I have NO IDEA how in hell she got in!?!?
I need Michael's help to keep Pig away from me while I stuff myself in the crawl space under the house and see how in hell she got in.  I can't see any access point from inside the closet..just the tiny opening where the water lines run.
Don't believe me?

Yeah, pardon the 1970s linoleum in the closet..and dust...and oh...the GROUNDFREAKINGHOG.

Saturday, August 20

Well...

It wasn't THE PARK..the park to end all parks..but we did it.
We made to a state park to hike.
We tricked fate.
We casually loaded up the two older dogs (not our usual hiking buddies) and *ran to Walmart*.  See, that was key in tricking fate.  Lying about our destination.
I didn't take many photos.  We had the dogs and the park was full of people/dogs/horses/crazed park rangers on golf carts.
We had our hands full working the dogs around 101 distractions.
Henry (beagle/jack russell mix) wanted to bark at the splashing horses.
Oh hell no, pal.

And Strider (Rotti/coon hound mix) wanted to eat this dragonfly.
Absolutely hell no, buddy.

We try to be exemplary dog owners .
Quiet, well-behaved (or faking) dogs..kept on leash.
We clean up after our dogs.
But...I would appreciate a trash can somewhere in the park! Grr!

We didn't see any wildlife...but that's what home is for.

We have absolutely nooo intention on going hiking again tomorrow.
None.
Zero.  Zip.
*cough*
