WOO!

New bird off my life list!
And completely by accident...as always...
 Hooded Merganser, male and female.
A remotely decent shot of the male-

Truly hideous photo of the female-

I'll be stalking them in hopes of a good shot!

Another bird related photo...
I saw this funny little owl ornament and fell in love.

Michael:What in hell is THAT?!
Me: It's an owl! It's adorable!
Michael: No, it isn't.  It's what the Blair Witch would have on her Christmas tree.
Me: Well I'm totally in love with it NOW.  I'm buying it.
Michael: Does it come with a free priest to exorcise the house??

  1. Did the priest survive the exorcism?

  10. OMG! I totally thought it was an owl too until you said Blair Witch and now...well....maybe you should bury it out in the woods, far far away from your house?

Congrats on the life list bird! I hope that you get a good photo. Have you heard about the snowy owls that are showing up all over the country? We had some in our area but I didn't get to see them.

  22. It's wonderful when a new bird comes into focus when you least expect it.

A 'good karma owl' that could double as a practical voodoo doll when needed. lol
