Just a few

grainy, dark photos...and we're out the door!
Errand day (BLAH!), mowing day (if the rain holds off), and hiking this evening (see previous rain comment).

In my photographic defense, it was drizzling and almost dark.

Everyone is loading up on sunflower seeds...

..and whatever apples Pig doesn't eat!

We can hike for hours and not see deer or wild turkeys, and very few birds..
cracks me up that all I have to do is open the front door!

Enjoy your day!

  1. I think it is very cool that all you have to do is open your front door and there you have the wildlife in front of you.

All I have are crows everywhere. And squirrels in the back. And cats that love to torment my dogs by laying down for a bath on the other side of the patio door. That drives the dogs ballistic, sheesh, and that cat KNOWS what she is doing!

  12. I am a big sunflower fan. It is good to see the critters loading up on the seeds. Wish I could grow them, but the deer eat them. I always smile when I see your posts, you are very witty.

  13. I love the wildlife photos! I have the same experience. I have trail cams out in the forest on animal trails but, sometimes, the cam right outside my door sees more wildlife action than any others :)

  14. Lighting is everything and it's tough to get good shots in bad light, but I really like the dark tones. Good photos despite the low light!
