The carp.
We camped at Pymatuning State Park in Ohio, but this place is just a few miles away.
Do not ask me how two reasonably intelligent adults had so much fun watching carp fight over bread.
A dollar loaf of stale bread equals good times.
Granted, it was pretty creepy when we realized the carp were following us along the walkway...staring...mouths gaping...
Zombies!
Forget braaaaains...
breaaaaad!
Run away, run away!
And that was before we got assaulted by seagulls!
so you left pig at home and found pigs with fins... :)
ReplyDeletesome of those look mighty sizeable! i hope they don't have your home address or they'll take carbs from poor starving ghogs...
Love the geese but those carp can stay under. lol!
ReplyDeleteOh that is so great, but I agree totally creepy they followed you.
ReplyDeleteIt does look like lots of fun though.
Caaaaarbs... sounds familiar:@)
ReplyDeleteAll types of hungry animals know you provide CARBS!
ReplyDeletehaha you read my mind! well not that i was thinking "zombies".... but i was thinking oh my gosh all those mouths!!! I think the picture with the geese is much more appealing!

ReplyDeleteI didn't even think about the carb thing. LOLOLOL!
ReplyDeleteHA!!!!!!!!! looking down into the big carp mouth!! kinda weird! the geese...the carp...they all look so frantic! guess not many people throw carbs to 'em anymore!
ReplyDeleteI've had my fill of creep-out for the day and it's only early morning. However, I agree feeding fish and fowl does give cheezy pleasure.
ReplyDeleteWe used to eat carp when we couldn't get anything else.
ReplyDeleteThere's an old fish hatchery in a small town south of us that has a carp pond -- have the colorful ones too -- and it is fun to feed them. Until they get weird about it. :)
ReplyDeleteMan, I SO see the word bubble possibilities with the single open-mouthed carp photos!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious that you liken them to zombies! I think you are my thought (and foot) sister!
