"OMG you take forever to wake up. Let's go hiking!" |
Our tent attracted wildlife...happily, nothing with fangs or claws. |
A bit of our hikes....
Random woman, hiking: Awww are you making that poor little baby dog carry his own water??
That's so mean! *simpers*
Me: No. He's carrying poop.
Random woman stares..starts to walk away...
Me: Why should I have to carry it!? I picked it up and double bagged it..biodegradable bags, no less.
Ah well...
Some hiker out there has a good sense of humor!
Hey, Universe, look over there!
We're trying for another quickie trip next weekend. Fingers crossed!
you make sure your dogs are pooped - one way or the other - on your hikes. :)
ReplyDeleteI've never seen the little backpacks for dogs before, cool idea! Glad you got away for a bit:@)
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful country!
ReplyDeleteIt's been forever since I've seen a stick bug! My son would get a kick out of that! That's so funny about the doggie pack! lol My dogs wouldn't know what to do if I put something like that on them. Poor Jazz would probably get hung on something from where she is so short! lol
ReplyDelete...So I just quit commenting until I got here and could catch up. On top of our earthquake, we are now getting hit with the hurricane. Can I come stay with you? I will bring my chipmunks for Pig to play with.
ReplyDeleteYou better keep your good eye open for us in Sepetember. We are riding the bikes over your way for a camping trip. We do this every year. That would be something to wake up next to each others campsite, ahaha. This is your warning! ;)
great that you got to get some camping and hiking in. looks so pretty and green. the waters look high. love that neato walking stick.
ReplyDeletehaha that walking stick thingy is just huge! haha if i would see that after waking up i would be screaming!

ReplyDeletehey, if i had a dog...and took him hiking...i'd have him carry a couple of xtra water bottles in those saddles. one side poop, other side water...
camping is addictive! (nice addiction!)
Love your comment to the nosy hiker!
