I don't envy you at all. I'm not great with heat, but I really can't handle humidity. If I were you, I'd probably sit in your pool until I became a prune.
Ick!! I know there would be for sure Moss growing on my neck. Are you going to be getting scuba gear to breathe? That is so bad about your Brussel sprouts. I have seen those little white moths flying around but we can't grow those kinds of vegetables here because of the heat and the ground temps get to high. I never knew they did that. I do hope you get to stay inside today.
Yup, my sweat is sweating here too. I asked Rambob yesterday as to when we moved to the swamp because I don't remember moving and it sure as heck feels like on around here ;)
Sam I know!!! They are liars! They just keep extending our heat warning. I have a full on cranky going now and I just keep bitching, which I realize does not do a dang thing to help and raises my blood pressure. But I can't take it anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have my sympathy and empathy. At least you have a pool. We are 95 at 1:16 with a 76 dew point. Waaaahhhhh.
Lucky us! We are just 82% humidity. I have read your last three posts about the lovely critters we gardeners enjoy each season. May I add my favorite to the list:
Japanese Beetles!
We haven't had anything until you have these miserable things.
We do have to laugh when we list all the negatives that go with gardening..........yet we do it. Sometimes there will be that perfect year and everything is wonderful. We start out believing that fairytale each spring. We are optimists.
yuck for you. don't start molding on us...
