I don't mean to complain..

pfft..who am I kidding?  Yes, yes I do.
This heat sucks.
I would like to know where these 24 mph wind gusts were?
Hmph.

Pool water registers 92 after I topped it off with the hose.
Not refreshing!
We're wallowing in misery.
I'm grouchy.
Blah.

Not the only grouchy one.  The ladies in this house are just plain pissy.

Oh yay.  Another crop of stinkhorns.

Yesterday's haul.  That big tomato was sacrificed to the fried green tomato gods.

I swear Michael isn't naked...but if he was..WHO CARES! It was 108 in the shade!

    We finally caught a little break from the humidity yesterday. Looks like it might come back with some storms this weekend. I feel your pain.

    Last night, one of our tv stations showed a report that originally aired in early March. It was about a big snowstorm that had just hit. I found it very refreshing.

    I don't deal with heat well. Even in a/c, it makes me feel a little on the sick side (and, yes, I'm drinking plenty of water). I've had enough. I give up. The Summer Gods win.

    He looks like Adam in the garden!

    Our weather guy informed us that today will be the 21st day in a row (record 42-1980) w/temps at or above 100 & the 28th time this season (record 69-1980) w/100 degree heat.

    He seems to get some kind of personal glee from this heat. I find him obnoxious. =)

    I think I am headed to the pool today. Stay cool!

    102 in Philly today-yea ha... I'm not as big a fan of naked gardening as texwisgirl... those plants can be scratchy!:@)

    We're in the same place w/ the weather. I just picked some green beans and came in dripping. I was only out there 20 minutes. Ugh! It's been in the upper 90s all week. Still....beats snow in my book!
