I need some tall, full plants that can handle extreme sun and shale. The soil is total crap. I'll amend, of course, but it's a drop in the bucket.
Said plants need to be able to handle limited amounts of pool water (dogs shaking off on them). I use the lowest safe levels of chlorine, but still.
I'm already thinking of the ornamental grasses, but what types? What can handle this horrible spot?
Need to plant several (billion) since I'm trying to give my pool area some privacy.
Oh..please don't recommend some amazing plant I'm going to fall in love with that costs more than my kidneys are worth.
